A Festive Celebration (2005)

Jie Qing – A Festive Celebration, a work for concert band specially composed for the CBDNA 2006 southern division meeting in Nashville, Tennessee U.S.A., conducted by Dr. Thomas E. Verrier in 2006. Later performed by the Tom Lee NeoWinds Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Danilo Delfin.  Mdm. Li Mei-zhu, artistic director of the Beijing Youth Palace Symphonic Band performed the music. The work was based on a Chinese folk song with variations throughout.

「節慶」，特為美國田納西州CBDNA2006年會議創作，由Dr. T Verrier指揮首滨，後由通利新青年管樂團 D. Delfin先生指揮通利新青年管樂團、北京少年宮交響管樂團藝術總監李美珠女士亦曾執棒展演。樂曲採用中國民歌一首並以變奏手法完成。
