This work, in title means 4 instrumental parts playing 4 movements, is specially written Being inspired by sceneries around Hong Kong, the composition is set in the style of a Suite, starting with a brief prelude titled “Central” where rhythmic sounds of a bustling city is heard, followed by a serenely sandy beach on “Lamma Island” where you may hear waves gently runs onshore under arrays of warm sunshine.  We then turn to “The Market” in noisy giggles and gossips, laughter and sighs; finally we reach the “Buddha Statue” on Lantau Island, feeling its hugeness and pureness with great admiration accompanied with remote murmurs of Buddhist Chants.

由香港國際大提琴協會之大提琴合奏團而作(由CASH贊肋)的【四乘四】,意即為四部大提琴而作的四個樂章。四個樂章皆以描繪由作者所選取的本港四個不同地域或景致作主題,籍著固定低音、切分節奏、協調及不協調和弦、音響效果、四度/五度音程疊置、五聲音階等手法,引導聽眾重臨「中環」、「南丫島」海灘、「街市」及「大嶼山大佛」。
