Ave Verum Corpus is a short Latin Eucharistic hymn from the late 13th century, revered for its meditation on Christ’s real presence in the sacrament and His sacrifice on the cross. It is most famously set to music by Mozart in 1791, just months before his death, and remains a cornerstone of sacred choral repertoire.

Transcribed for Horn Quartet in 1999
